It's been over a year since I've updated this journal. Crap. Ah well, I was always more the writer/director type anyway.

For anyone who cares, a friend and myself have spent roughly the last year developing a concept for a new animated children's series. Our objective is to create a show that is genuinely clever and hilarious. Something the adults will find just as funny if not funnier than the kids. In essence, and American Dad or Family Guy parents are happy for their kids to watch. So far, I think we've been quite successful, but probably need to pull it back a little more for the kids.

And it's not all wishful thinking either. We've got the interest of a well respected representation group within the industry (the folks that represent the creators of "Saw"), and things are going well. If all goes to plan, we should start shopping it around later this year.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, Chosen and Various Shades Of Green fell through. So, they're not gonna happen. Shame too, I loved those scripts to death. Especially Various Shades Of Green. But I suppose I'll have a settle for a television series.
